The Couple

So first off a little about the lovely couple! Colleen and Brice are such an interesting couple. They complete each other perfectly!

Brice has the calm quiet demeanor, quite charming and definitely a gentleman. He’s a chef. I’m not using that term loosely. He cooked for their wedding and it was some of the most remarkable food I’ve had! (I’m a foodie so I’d know lol)

Colleen, on the other hand, is the life of the party! Before she arrived everything was being prepared, and situate ‘just so’. Once she got there you’ll find that the emotions got rolling, and the smiles never ceased! (as did the tears…)

The Venue

The pair had rented a little cabin just north of Broken Bow, Oklahoma not far from the lake. This allowed for everything to be so personal. They only invited close friends, and family.

I especially love how the sophisticated decorations blended so nicely with the nature. At night it was breath taking when all the lights were on.

The Ceremony

Just before the ceremony Colleen arrived so ecstatic to see everyone. After her moment with all of her close family members, she just happened to get a peak of Brice through a window. What followed was one of the sweetest most heartfelt moments I have witnessed in the wedding photography business.

She kept saying over and over “I love him!” and “I can’t believe I’m going to marry that man!”

Shortly thereafter Colleen walk down the steps with her brother to a live performance. Just a guy and his guitar. She couldn’t quite make it to Brice without crying.

Everyone gathered around to watch the event. Her brother, mother, and stepfather were standing up there with them.

Couples Photos

After the ceremony we took a little drive to the Hochatown golf course to get some outstanding pictures of their young love! The fall colors were at an absolute peak for the year, but it was their love that really shined through.
